A four-day machinery exposition will begin at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka on February 16 next year.
More than one hundred local and foreign companies are expected to participate in the fair styled ‘Dhaka Industry Machinery Expo (DIME)-2006’, the first of its kind in Bangladesh.
The Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and ES Event Management SDN BHD, a Malaysia-based event management company, will jointly organise the exhibition.
Exhibitors from home and abroad will participate in the fair to display industrial machinery, said Akai Lin, a project executive of ES Event Management, at a press conference yesterday in Dhaka.
Companies involved RMG, plastics, packaging, printing, food processing and pharmaceuticals machinery will display their products.
Foreign companies from Germany, Italy, US, Spain, Singapore, China, Korea, India and Malaysia are expected to participate in the fair.
